I could be in this boat, being gently rocked by the undulating sea, bask in the sunshine and snooze a dozy snooze....
Definitely think I'm suffering from lack of sunshine syndrome....poor Boo has S.A.D.......where are you sun???
Life is full of sunshine....

Um, don't you live in London? I hate to be the one to point it out, but London has never been a hot vacation spot for people who want to see lots of sunshine. Complaining about the rain and fog in London is like complaining about the heat in Miami. Or the cold in Alaska. It's what you get there. Can't you take the train to Paris for a weekend break? Maybe the weather there is better. Warm sunny thoughts...
Hello Dawn.
But believe it or not we do get sun here- all the sunset photos of mine were taken on the river I live upon. Paris has the same weather as us poor Londoners.
Took the winter sun photie last Sunday not far from London.
sending you warm sunny thoughts back...send me some sunshine too!!

Yes agree, peace, tranquility, sunshine, solitude
You need a light box :). Or a tanning bed :).
I use christmas tree lights -- they sometimes make it more bearable.
OH! Paxil is sometimes prescrbed for SAD.
Do you wear glasses? A doctor once told me that if you wear glasses you should take them off when you ~are~ outside as doing so substantially increases your bodies recognition and absorption of sunlight.
But when you have the blahs, you have the blahs. If none of that works do what I do: try vodka :).
:).
We've had so much sun this week that I'm not feeling the winter blues yet. But I don't like coming home from work in the dark.
Wow. The impression I always got was that London's weather was universally horrid and that Paris got much more sunshine. Alas, my Americanism is showing.
We've had a week of rain and drizzle here and are looking at another week of the same. I'll send you sunny thoughts, but all I've got for weather is the stuff you've already got.
Poor BB! Let's grab some more winter sun when we can QRx
Now that really does appeal. Especially after a rotten day in which we've barely had any daylight, a couple of hours of heavy wind and torrential rain - and even a clap of thunder.
If only... you were not a BRAINIAC BUTCH BOO.
Had to just leave that little comment, you scrabble seducer !
Living in almost always sunny So. Calif. I would sure like to take in a few fog filled mornings. I love the mysticness of fog and wish we experienced it a little more often.
Love your blog. Keep up the good writing.
